I am an out of state buyer that was looking to purchase a condo in Chicago. Hunter was very knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Hunter worked patiently, enthusiastically, and professionally with us for OVER A YEAR to find the right place in a very competitive market. He continued to keep us in mind as opportunities came onto the market, and was flexible, available and attentive whenever we needed. It was very evident that he was working hard on our behalf and that he genuinely cared about our outcome and our satisfaction. That should seem obvious when hiring someone to represent you, but is not always the case and should not be taken for granted. Hunter helped me to sell my South Loop condo this spring in 6 days from listing to sale. As a first time seller (the first home I have owned) I was nervous and less than knowledgeable about the particulars of being the seller versus the buyer. Hunter was very helpful in explaining things to me in detail and understanding that I had lots of questions along the way. Hunter’s services included amazing photography of my place, personalized open house (he was there not simply his representative), showings as they came in and again, answering all of my many questions! He even helped to replace the battery in my (at the top of the ceiling) smoke alarm when I was out of the country and it very inconveniently began to beep. Hunter was confident in getting a good price for my unit and I was happy with the sale price. It took some negotiating to get there and it was nice to have an agent who was confident and knowledgeable about the negotiating process. Finally, Hunter helped me to secure a real estate attorney that he works with regularly and helped to coordinate things as we moved toward inspection, appraisal and closing. I have learned that selling is more stressful in many ways than buying, and I will say that Hunter definitely helped to keep me calm and get to the finish!

I needed to find and close on a 1 bedroom property in the Gold Coast/Streeterville area in 30 days, and Hunter could not have been better at understanding my needs and walked me through the entire process from start to finish. When touring condos, Hunter asked insightful questions and pointed out the pros and cons of a place, making it much easier to narrow down my top choices after seeing over 15 properties. Hunter was able to negotiate a great price on my top choice, and was in constant communication with me throughout the entire closing process when I was out of the state (even going to my inspection for me to ensure everything was in good shape). I would highly, highly recommend working with him!
